Introductions from people who put their name to them.
IBX is a vouched business-introduction network. Members exchange business cards, post what they are looking for, and introduce each other's asks hand to hand. Every introduction carries a named vouch.
Apply for membershipSee dues in your country
Membership is by application and annual dues, shown in your local currency at the full price before you apply.
- AskYou post: "Looking for an importer of FSC furniture in Germany."
- Hop 1A member in your wallet introduces you to someone they trust.
- Hop 2That member knows a buyer's agent in Hamburg and vouches for you by name.
- AcceptYou accept. Contact details unlock both ways.
Five steps, one object, two verbs.
Post your card
Photograph your business card and add one line about what you do. Your card is the identity; there is no profile to build.
Exchange cards
Cards you have exchanged sit in your wallet of 50 slots. A limit that keeps the wallet to people you would actually introduce.
Post an ask
Say what you need, for example "Looking for an EU importer of FSC furniture". Members you know pass it to members they know.
Introductions travel
Each introduction is a named vouch from a real member, travelling two to five hops until you accept one.
Accept, then talk
An accept unlocks contact details both ways. The conversation then happens off the platform, between the two of you.
What IBX will never be.
A club is defined by what it refuses to do. These are fixed rules of the product, not settings.
- No public profiles
- No bios, follower counts, likes or feeds of content. Nobody can browse you.
- No search of other members
- You cannot look people up. You can only be introduced.
- No open messaging
- Contact details unlock only after an accept, and only to the two people involved.
- No demographic data
- We never ask for, infer or store age, gender or similar attributes.
- One reputation event
- An accepted introduction is the only thing that counts. Nothing else earns standing.
- Limits are decisions
- Three introductions per ask, a capped wallet and a 48 hour clock per hop. There are no bypasses.
One annual price, set by country band.
Dues are annual and shown in your local currency, tax included where it applies, before you apply. A grant, where one is offered, is applied against the full displayed price and recorded as the paying party on your invoice.
See whether your corridor is live.
Search by country and sector for how many members are there. Counts are aggregate only; below 20 we say "fewer than 20" rather than give a number. We never show a card or a name.
Ready to be introduced?
Send a photo of your card and one line. We review every application by hand.
Have a grant code? Redeem it here.
